Human Resources Officer – Employee Services


 The Human Resources Officer – Employee Services is responsible for providing secretarial and administrative services to ensure effective and efficient operations of the Division that successfully meets the needs of CIMA and its employees. In addition, the Human Resource Officer – Employee Services assists within each divisional unit including Employee Services, Recruitment and Learning & Development.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The successful candidate will:

  • Prepare correspondence and other documents for circulation within the Division, CIMA, or externally;
  • Update, reconcile and maintain accurate attendance information for all CIMA employees;
  • Address inquiries from current and incumbent employees as it relates to relocation, requiredonboarding documentation and CIMA procedures, code of conduct principles, health insurance andpension benefits;
  • Input employee data in the HR Information system, including benefit amendments;
  • Reconciles divisional data with the respective Administrative Assistants and produces monthly andfinal year-end reports, in addition to the accrual rolls within the systems for the division managersand the HR Division;• Produce monthly and annual attendance reports to CIMA’s respective Heads of Division;
  • Collate supporting documentation for payroll and ensure the maintenance of employee personneldetails in the HR Information System;
  • Interact with the Information Systems Division to rectify identified issues with employee systems;
  • Observe areas related to employee services and proactively conducts research of best practices in HR;
  • Interact with the Finance Division to process all payment requests and reimbursements associatedwith new hires or relocations;• Support new employees during the probation period and ensures that all required supplies andinformation are provided;• Assist with and contribute to HR needs analysis, policy/procedure improvements and programmedevelopment or initiatives;
  • Coordinate travel requests for employees’ relocation or repatriation;• Assist with the coordination of events and meetings hosted or organized by CIMA;
  • Contribute to providing data to Division Managers for the tracking, monitoring, and reporting ofAnalytics; and
  • Perform all necessary employee services functions ensuring proper functioning of the Division.

REQUIREMENTS:

  •  Associates Degree in Human Resources Management or Business Administration; and three (3) years’experience, with demonstrated performance capabilities, working in a human resourcesadministrative role in a corporate environment;
  • Sound knowledge of general human resources administrative procedures;
  • Strong ability to write coherent sentences with proper grammatical and spelling construction;• High level of confidentiality and work ethic is paramount;
  • Working knowledge of the Cayman Islands Employment legislations and procedures;
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Great plains Dynamics, SharePoint, and VISTA systems would beadvantageous;
  • Computer skills, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word Processing are necessary;
  • Working knowledge of internet/intranet updates are beneficial; and
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills to accomplish tasks within tight deadlines.
